Project Objectives:
1. Find springs of clean water in two districts of the Brest region.
2. Clean up 7 active springs from pollution and carry out sanitary cleaning of the surrounding area from garbage together with children vacationing in holiday camps.
3. One spring in the village of Shumaki, Brest region, will be completely landscaped, a wooden canopy, a gazebo for relaxation will be made, and a drainage system will be organized for rain flows. Conduct water tests.
3. In four recreation camps for school children, hold a special event for the healthy environmental message “Love and Peace” with a puppet show, a cultural, concert and sports program for children.
RESULTS:
The most important and practical task was to improve the spring in the village of Shumaki, which was done on time and without problems by a group of young disabled people, with the support of local residents. We visited and cleaned supposed springs in the Brest and Kamenets regions. We consider the construction of a beautiful and high-quality canopy over a spring in the village of Shumaki an achievement. For disabled people without legs and arms, this was not easy.
