The United Nations presented the updated Disability Inclusion Strategy (UNDIS 2.0) for 2026–2030. Priorities include accessibility, digital accessibility, data and the participation of persons with disabilities.

From 1 August 2026, Belarus increased the care allowance for persons with group I disability or people aged 80 and over. For care of one person, the payment is 530.37 roubles.

From 1 August 2026, the average per capita subsistence budget in Belarus rose to 530.37 roubles. Social pensions and other payments linked to this amount were also increased.
