The 35th session of the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities is underway in Geneva.
The session is scheduled from 12 to 27 August 2026 at the Palais des Nations.
The Committee is a body of independent experts that monitors implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities by States parties.
During the session the Committee considers reports of States parties, reviews implementation of the Convention and discusses the protection of rights, equal participation and inclusion of persons with disabilities in public life.
On 17 August the programme of the session includes the review of Lithuania.
