The applicant of the project is the general partner from Poland, the Lublin Forum of the Organization of Disabled People, Sejmik Voevodsky.

 

The project is aimed at organizing innovative rehabilitation and adaptation of young disabled people in Poland and Belarus through the introduction of useful experience at the local and regional level. The project is an example of joint coordination of activities for an international good - health.

The goal of the project is to expand the cross-border potential of cooperation between two neighboring countries and the exchange of experience between non-profit organizations of people with disabilities.

 

The main objectives of the project are:

1. Expanding opportunities for the transfer of knowledge, experience, rehabilitation, information and practical skills between the Lublin Forum of Disabled People’s Organizations Sejmik Voivodeship and the Brest Regional Youth Public Association “Disabled and Environment” through education, training at seminars for people with disabilities, through innovative training courses for leaders, volunteers and employees of the social environment, including employees professionally working in the social sphere, study tours, design and publication of environmental and cultural materials on cross-border territories.

2. Increasing access to education and information on joint integrated rehabilitation activities for people with disabilities

3. Increasing the network of social infrastructure facilities through the creation of 4 multidisciplinary information and consultation points for people with disabilities in the Lublin Voivodeship and the city of Brest.

 

A new form of e-learning will make it possible to create a teleconference that will unite the disabled movement of neighboring countries. The created information studio on both sides of the border will connect the project target groups and specialists. At the next stage of the project, it will allow expanding the scope of social activities with Belarusian and Polish provinces, developing innovative models of support and assistance for people with disabilities.
