Нscientific and methodological seminar on organizing work with people with special needs of psychophysical development; release of information booklets and methodological recommendations on the subject of the project; activities to recruit and train volunteers to work with people with special needs. The information resources developed during the project will be available to the general public and can be used in the activities of the Disabled Person and the Environment, as well as other organizations. The strategic goal of the project is to promote active socialization and psychological rehabilitation of young disabled people of various categories through art therapy.
The project began on August 1, 2010 and will last until March 31, 2011. As a result of the project implementation, we plan to solve the following tasks:
1: to teach the basics of artistic activity to 45 young people with special needs of psychophysical development, and at least 5 leaders and directors of theater groups living in Brest and the Brest region.
2: prepare a group of volunteers (20 young people) who will interact with people with characteristics of psychophysical development.
3: to ensure the dissemination of information to a wide audience on the organization of theatrical activities with people who have characteristics of psychophysical development.
As a result of solving the above tasks, we hope to achieve a common goal, which is to involve people with special needs of psychophysical development living in Brest and the Brest region into the social and cultural life of the community through training and participation in theatrical activities.
